Introduction

Here I am, a blogger. Never would have thunk it. Hmmmm..... Why you ask? Well, I've been disappointed in myself at the amount time I spend wasting on facebook. Don't get me wrong, it's a great way to keep in touch with family and friends, but in such a "surface" sort of way. It allows me not to go too deep...keep my distance. I really don't want that to be a long term habit. So, I thought having a blog would enable me to still communicate with everyone on a deeper level and post pictures of the family. I also think this will be a way to begin implementing more "journaling" in my life. I already journal my prayers and praises during my quiet time, but I've been wanting to journal more separately about our journey as a whole family. The Lord has and continues to do a mighty work in us since our move and I feel it is a work worthy to be recorded and shared with those we love. My prayer is that our blog is one that gives you the ability to see the work of Christ in our lives whether you're ten miles or a thousand miles away. Of course I have much to catch y'all up on, but we have plenty of time.... I look forward to sharing our lives with you.... ALL the glory goes to HIM!

  2. So good to hear from you; I know what you mean about this being sort of a journal. I have wanted to do more myself; I even bought a software download to my PC on Christian journaling. I love this Idea as well so you can still communicate with others on your travel of growing in Christ.

I think of you guys often and we still talk about some of our first talks. Like us telling you (before we really knew you) that you reminded us of our little 4 pound yorkie (Hanna) we said you hopped around just like she does and you too are so little. What was so funny about that was the next time we saw you, you said you didn’t know if to say Good morning or bark!!!....LOL That was the beginning of us loving you.

God continues to grow us through trials and temptations. He continues to open my eyes and heart on a daily bases, My hubby too! We make mistakes and fall off the cliff at times but thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ we have never hit the bottom of the canyon, He brings us up out of that horrible pit and set our feet on that rock. And who is the ROCK! Amen! Sister! Jesus Christ is all I want is all I need, he is more than enough for me….Hmmmm sounds like a song.

    News Flash!
Bob is going to Africa in February to speak to over 25,000 people in the Uganda and Kenya prisons. He is so excited that God has given him such a gift to evangelize in his late years.

Things we are asking prayer for is; God to have hearts prepared, for his health to remain good, and for he himself to grow even closer to our Lord during this wonderful opportunity. As you know giving the gospel and bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus is Bob’s heart beat.

Well so glad you included me in your addy to your blog. I know I dint do well in saying good by, but you all are often in our thoughts and conversations. (Good ones) ….Love you all lots!
